Adjusting your display resolution

If you're running one of the Linux distributions, you probably know where to go to change your screen resolution.
In KDE it's usually under Control Panel / Look & Feel / Display.
In Gnome it's in System Settings / Display

If you're running Windows, it's in Start / Settings / Control Panel / Display / Settings.
Adjust the Screen Resolution slider to 1024 by 768 and hit Apply.
If your screen does not display correctly, don't panic, wait 15 seconds and it should return to normal.
If you're a bit unsure of all this, ask a knowledgeable friend for help.

If you're running a Mac, I'm afraid I can't help you !
(But I can't imagine Apple having an 800x600 screen!)
