The SKC has decided that the format that open race meetings should follow for 2006 is as follows:

The following classes will be offered at all open non-championship meetings:

Midgets Senior National Light
Rookies Senior National Heavy
Junior National Light Sportsman Light
Junior National Heavy Sportsman Heavy
Junior Clubman Sportsman Super-heavy
  Over 40s National Light
TAG 125 Light Over 40s National Heavy
TAG 125 Heavy Over 40s National Super-heavy

The following classes will be offered at an open meeting at least once per year by all clubs:
Open
Over 40's ARC A1 Evolution

*** All heats will be combined with drivers running their entered weights.
*** All finals will be run separately for each class / weight provided there are at least 6 starters.

So a typical meeting will have heats for:
Midgets
Rookies
Junior National (light & heavy)
Junior Clubman
Senior National (light & heavy)
Sportsman (light, heavy & super-heavy)
Over 40s National (light, heavy & super-heavy)
TAG 125 (light & heavy)
The number of finals (up to 15) will depend on the number of starters for each class & weight division.

Notes:
Sportsman will use the MG Red tyre this year, AKA-39 exhaust, ARC water-cooled + 5Kg.

TAG 125 includes Rotax MAX 125, IAME Leopard and PRD Fireball engines.
Light - 160 Kg, Heavy - 180 Kg (all motor types).
Rotax & Leopard dry tyres per the AKA manual, PRD the same as Leopard.
All motors to use wet tyres per AKA manual for Rotax.

Over 40's weights are now the same as Senior National, Super-heavy is Heavy + 20 Kg.
ARC A1 Evolution includes either the Yamaha 'J' or ARC A1 Evolution motor.
