There has been an update to the procedure to purchase a transponder - the one you need to have before July 1st :-)
The State Karting Council now has a web site set up at www.akatas.asn.au/html
It will provide important news and announcements from the AKA Tas, so bookmark it now and have a look there regularly.
Karters will now only receive an email notifying them that the site has been updated with important and/or relevant information.
IMPORTANT - Please note that the email addresses for notices sent to Karters are generated from the AKA Licensing system. Currently 20% of emails are bouncing back and therefore many Karters are not being notified of updates. As this is the primary system of notification, it is vital that you keep that email address up to date. A valid email address is also required for reminders and retrieving forgotten passwords to the system.

Our first race meeting for 2008, the Little Legends, will be held on the 20th January. One of the more pressing jobs is the replacement of the tyre barrier near the sail fence and the installation of conveyor belting. Zenon also needs some help to finish installing the plaster for the ceiling of the control tower. Without this completed he is unable to progress the plaster work on the walls. So there will be a working bee held this Saturday the 22nd December starting at 10am. Please come along and help if you can. The track will be unavailable during the working bee.
