There are a few things you we need before you can go kart racing. The first thing you will need is a kart. You can buy a kart brand new but there are also plenty of second hand karts around. The best way to find the kart that is right for you is to talk to people at the club or talk to one of the kart dealers located here in Tasmania.

 

You will also need safety equipment to protect you while racing. You will need the following;

- A go kart one piece race suit

- A go kart or road motorcycle full face helmet

- Abrasive resistant go kart gloves

- Abrasive resistant go kart boots
